Ongoing professional safety guidance and support tailored to your business, without the expense of hiring a full-time safety professional.

Safety Advisor

Businesses seeking remote guidance and periodic follow-up.

Remote support

  • Up to 2 hours of support per month.
  • Remote safety consulting and guidance.

Follow-up

  • Quarterly review of client-submitted safety documents, including JSAs, Hot Work Permits, Confined Space Permits, and similar documents.
  • Routine updates to existing safety programs and procedures as applicable regulations change, within the agreed scope.

Toolbox talks

  • Toolbox talk development.

Businesses wanting ongoing remote support and active follow-through.

Remote support

  • Up to 5 hours of support per month.
  • Remote safety consulting and guidance.

Program oversight

  • Monthly review of client-submitted documents, i.e. JSAs, Hot Work Permits, Confined Space permits, etc.

Follow-up

  • Monthly safety consultation call, a brief action summary, and a safety calendar.
  • Program and procedure updating as state, federal, and local regulations change.

Toolbox talks

  • Toolbox talk development.

Routine inquiry response within 24–72 hours.

Full training development and live instruction are separate services.

Monthly consulting plans cover ongoing safety guidance and defined support services. New safety program development, substantial program revisions, and custom training development are separately scoped and quoted.

Work beyond the agreed monthly hours requires client approval and is billed at the applicable consulting rate.

The client designates an internal program administrator. J.D. Safety Consultants provides external guidance and oversight. Monthly support does not include unlimited updates and does not replace jobsite supervision.

Safety Program & Training Development

Affordable, customized safety programs, procedures, and training materials developed around your company’s operations, workplace hazards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Initial Safety Program Development

For businesses establishing or updating their foundational written safety programs and procedures. We develop a customized package using our established safety program framework, tailored to your industry, operations, workplace hazards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Specific programs, deliverables, and final pricing are determined through an initial consultation and agreed scope of work.

Individual Safety Programs & Procedures

Development or customization of individual written safety programs and procedures tailored to your company’s operations and applicable regulatory requirements.

Starting at $500 each

Safety Training Development

Customized safety training materials designed for your workforce. Standard training kits generally include a 20–30 minute slide presentation, facilitator notes, and an attendance form.

Starting at $500 per training kit

Complex or extended instructor-led courses

Custom courses for more complex topics or longer instructor-led sessions.

Hourly Safety Consulting

Flexible, as-needed safety consulting for businesses that don't require ongoing monthly support. Ideal for one-off questions, document reviews, or short-term projects — billed only for the time you use.
